Ardkinglas House Tours

House Tours which include access to the house garden are available most Friday afternoons from April - October

The Present house at Ardkinglas was completed in the autumn of 1907 and is generally considered to be the architect Sir Robert Lorimer's masterpiece.

It was built at a time when traditional materials were skillfully and creatively mastered by expert craftsmen but where a wealth of new technology could be incorporated into the design. The house remains practically unaltered and is a very popular location for TV dramas, film production and product launches.

Please contact us to ensure the tour is going ahead.   Donation amount of £12.00 per person, £6.00 primary school children, younger ones free.

The House is still a much-loved family home and although not open to the public on a regular basis, a private tour of the house can be booked at any time of the year (minimum charge applies).

Booking is essential for all house tours : Please phone 01499 600261 or email info@ardkinglas.com

Tour dates for 2023:  Tours will start again in April 2023, we offer private tours through out the year, please contact us if interested.
