Wedding Receptions at Ardkinglas

If you have dreamed of a fairy tale wedding reception in a Mansion House in the Highlands of Scotland, Ardkinglas is the perfect setting. But because we simply provide the venue and allow you to plan your own special day, it is also very affordable. Whether you have your wedding ceremony at Ardkinglas or elsewhere, Ardkinglas House reception rooms are available for drinks and canapés for any size of wedding group and for photographs. The reception rooms available include the Drawing Room, complete with piano and the Tea Hall, both with direct access to the gardens and fabulous views of Loch Fyne.  For a wedding breakfast within the House we can accommodate 30 people.  A popular combination for couples is a religious church ceremony in picturesque Kilmorich Parish Church located just outside the Estate gates in the village of Cairndow, followed by a wedding reception at Ardkinglas. There are also magical sites within the woodland garden for alfresco drinks following a ceremony.

For larger receptions the terraced lawns can accommodate a marquee.  At sunset, the House can be floodlit, with flaming torches on the terraces providing the ultimate romantic atmosphere. Once you have decided on your venue requirements  with Ardkinglas, you are free to organise all other aspects of your wedding; you can therefore add all your own personal touches for an affordable wedding in one of the most exquisite wedding settings in Scotland.
