Wedding Ceremonies at Ardkinglas

Ardkinglas is the ideal venue for both civil and religious wedding ceremonies. The House and Grounds provide an exclusive, idyllic venue which is also very affordable if your preference is to arrange the details of your wedding yourself. Ardkinglas House is licensed for a ceremony for up to 70 people within the reception rooms in the House. For numbers over 70, the ceremony can take place outdoors in the grounds or in a marquee in the gardens.  Whether your ceremony takes place indoors or out, it is possible to use the House reception rooms for drinks and canapés for any size of wedding group and for photographs. The reception rooms which are available for your ceremony include the Drawing Room, complete with piano and the Tea Hall, both with direct access to the gardens. If you are planning a civil wedding we are happy to provide the local information on the legalities of registering your marriage ceremony. If you wish to have a religious marriage ceremony at Ardkinglas, the local minister at Lochgoilhead is happy to receive requests to conduct the ceremonly, based on the Presbyterian Church of Scotland form of Services.

An idyllic, yet affordable wedding venue!

The cost to use the house with no marquee is from £450 to £1115, depending on which rooms you wish to hire. The site fee for a marquee is from £1620 to £1920 but will be cheaper if you do not want to use the house.
